Landscapes

Creating a landscape project is a complex creative work that combines the visual elements of design as well as the technical knowledge and experience of a landscape construction and horticulture.

Each garden is a unique artwork, where instead of brush strokes in a painting we use plants and natural elements to create beautiful views and surroundings that attract the eye during the day and look completely different at night

A landscape project begins with getting to know you and your site. To start a project, we would require some introductory information, which can be provided by you the client or we can arrange it for you:

• current topographic survey of the site with existing facilities on the site at a scale of 1:250
• plan of the ground floor of the house (optional, but desirable)
• wish list and requirements: children,dogs/pets, access requirements, storage, outdoor dining/bbq etc.

After receiving all necessary information and signing a contract, we begin our design work.

INTRODUCTION TO DESIGN

Plants are sourced from specialist nurseries and growers to ensure strong healthy specimens. We introduce our clients to materials and plants, talk about them in detail, offer alternative options so that you have lots of different choices. We closely supervise all aspects of the construction, planting and styling of the garden on behalf of our clients.

During the construction, we take responsibility for supervising the quality, deadlines and adherence to the agreed budget.

01. Initial Consultation and Briefing.
We conduct a detailed site analysis and draw up a design brief together with our client, discussing all functional and aesthetic elements that you the client wish to echieve.

02. Concept Proposal. We prepare and present draft options for the future landscape where we propose, the initial layout of the landscape, materials selection and plants.

03. Detailed Design. The project consists of plans and detailed drawings according to which your landscape design will be built. A planting plan and full planting list is also prepared for client approval.

04. Preliminary Cost Plan and Tendering.
We will also draw up a preliminary cost plan for the intire project and we will offer a turn key service for design and build if the client requires. We will offer different quotes for the hard and soft landscaping works from a few professional landscape contractors.
